Team Spirit announced the League of Legends roster

After a great success in 2021 with the championship of The International 10, Team Spirit has decided to encroach on League of Legends.


The famous Russian organization, present in particular on DOTA2 and CSGO, has just announced the creation of a team on the MOBA of Riot Games studios, League of Legends. Team Spirit has acquired the slot from Team RoX. And will therefore participate in the Spring Split of the League of Legends Continental League (LCL).

On the homepage, Team Spirit officially announced the establishment of a League of Legends team with five members. The members include top laner Mark “Dreampull” Leksin, jungler Danil “Diamondprox” Reshetnikov, mid-laner Nikita “Griffon” Gudkov, AD Carry Evgeny “Mytant” Zavalny, and supporting Edward “Edward” Abgaryan. Meanwhile, taking on the role of Team Spirit’s coach is Mikhailo “Kira” Harmash.

Diamondprox is still full of desire to contribute despite being 29 years old.

Previously, Diamondprox and Edward were considered legends of the Eastern European League of Legends village and had a long time shining in Gambit’s shirt. With Kira, he also left a strong mark as a player, and with Albus NoX Luna, reached the quarterfinals of Worlds 2016. Now, the three stars of Eastern Europe will be together at Team Spirit.

We recognize that the current squad has a balance between youthful aspirations and competitive experience. Entering League of Legends, Team Spirit will compete in the LCL, where familiar teams like Unicorns of Love, Gambit Esports, and One Breath Gaming converge. Before establishing the League of Legends team, Team Spirit was famous for winning The International 10 in Dota 2. At that time, Team Spirit was a collection of young players who did not have much international experience.

Team Spirit is an organization rich in tradition in Russia, but it has only participated in League of Legends for the first time.

Despite being pushed to the losing bracket, Team Spirit defeated Fnatic, OG, Virtus.pro, Invictus Gaming, and Team Secret, respectively, before defeating PSG.LGD 3-2 in the grand final. Besides the Dota 2 team and the League of Legends team, Team Spirit also owns a CSGO team. However, the team based in Russia has not enjoyed success with CSGO for over a year.
