Who will win LPL 2022 Spring?

Plenty of exciting things are happening for the upcoming LPL 2022 Spring Season. As always, Edward Gaming and Royal Never Give Up are amongst the top contenders, yet LNG has also been making big announcements. Meanwhile, Top Esports are known to make headlines yet they still have a long way to go to be considered in the same league as China’s two world champions.

Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix have also been busy as both teams have completely transformed their rosters in the offseason with plenty of salary cuts. In this article, we will give a comprehensive insight into all of the top contenders for the upcoming LPL 2022 Spring Season.

EDward Gaming

What is there to predict for the reigning world champions? EDward Gaming claimed the title of being the #1 League of Legends team in the world after defying all odds and taking down the defending world champions DWG Kia. For the upcoming season, EDward has managed to keep their roster and also recruited jungler JunJia as a backup. Meiko and Viper performed brilliantly in the bottom lane in 2021, let’s see if the duo has what it takes to dominate the bottom lane meta in 2022.

Royal Never Give Up

Royal Never Give Up has decided to call  Xiaohu back to the mid lane after having him playing in the top lane in 2021. Crying failed to make his mark in the top lane and was one of the weakest players in the Worlds. So the team has parted ways with him and has recruited Bin in the top lane meanwhile the bot lane duo of Ming and Gala have retained their spot for the new season. RNG still needs to answer plenty of questions in 2022 yet we believe this roster will make a solid mark in the upcoming season.

LNG Esports

LNG Esports are known to make changes in the past seasons and they haven’t disappointed for 2022. As the team has managed to recruit jungler Tarzan along with mid-laner Doinb. Doinb has been amongst the best midlaners for some time and it will be interesting to see how he will perform under LNG Esports.

Top Esports

One of the teams to watch in the LPL 2022 Spring season is Top Esports. Since Knight didn’t have the best 2021 season after playing brilliantly in 2020, meanwhile JackeyLove has yet to show consistency. We are still yet to know who will be staring the top lane role of the team as Karsa will now be competing for Ninjas in Pyjamas and Top has recruited Xiaopeng and Tian as his replacements.

Bilibili Gaming

The last team on our list is Bilibili Gaming. They have been a mediocre team for the past few seasons. Yet the team has made one of the biggest announcements as they have successfully signed possibly the greatest bottom laner in the history of League of Legends, Uzi. The veteran took a break from the competitive landscape last season and now makes a return under the Bilibili Gaming banner.
