As of Hotfix v19.01, we are able to take full advantage of the brand-new Shield Sprinkler in Fortnite.
Fortnite has been one of the most incredible gaming experiences of all time, and as we dive headfirst into 2022, we can safely say that it’s looking brighter and brighter especially considering all the new updates that Epic Games have in store for us.
After the very successful Chapter 3 launch, fans have been wondering what else they could have prepared for us and who can blame them really. They’ve really shocked the world with their incredible updates and they’ve been quiet for a while now, most likely getting ready to shock us yet again with a brand-new update.
Well, this update is finally here, and now we are able to actually use the long-awaited healing item that has been talked about for many weeks now.
So how exactly can you use the Shield Sprinkler and what does it even do? This is what we’re here to find out together.
In simple terms, the Shield Sprinkler is a brand-new item that players can use in order to heal up and bring back their shield over the next 30 seconds.
This is a very important item because as you know, the gameplay highly revolves around the player’s health bar and most importantly, if you are caught in the storm, you can quickly end up losing half of your health before you even get to kill any enemies.
So, instead, you can use it to heal back up. In practice, it is actually very similar to the Chug Splashes, as you can throw it to the ground and have it heal multiple people at once while also getting their shields back up.
This takes 30 seconds to complete, but luckily you have plenty of time in game to do so as long as you’re not close to the middle of the storm which is where things get really scary.
But alas, we believe that this item will be sticking around all throughout Chapter 3 Season 1, which is great for the new players that haven’t gotten to try it out yet.
The Shield Sprinkler is also great because it has the following stat line: It can be used in a maximum of 2 stacks at once, and it heals 100 HP in a matter of 30 seconds in total.
If you want to get it you can find it in most chests, supply drops and floor loot around the map. We also recommend going to Lt. John Llama and the Scientist since they sell it for around 250 Gold Bars per batch.
Healing is prevalent in most games out there, especially shooters for that matter. This is why it’s so refreshing to see Epic Games take this one step further and try to revolutionize the system, making the game all the more fun for us.
We hope that you’re just as excited as we are to check out the Shield Sprinkler and hopefully you’ll get to try it out before it runs out.
