100 Thieves presents a renewed VALORANT roster

100 Thieves presents a renewed VALORANT roster

The North American team will seek to improve its past results. Little by little, the different teams around the world are presenting us with their new VALORANT squads. The competitive season is about to start, and everyone is preparing for it. Thus, we already know some of the changes, such as the notorious replacement of Oscar Canellas “mixwell” by Wassim Cista “keloqz” in G2 Esports. The latest presentation comes from the hand of 100 Thieves, a team that seems to be ready to compete.

100 Thieves is ready and presents its VALORANT squad

The North American club is ready for the start of the VCT NA open qualifiers. Thus, they have presented us with a squad in which three players from last year remain: Ethan Arnold “Ethan,” Spencer Martin” Hiko,” and Peter Mazuryz “Asuna.” They are joined by two others from the likes of Adam Eccles “ec1s” and Hunter Schline “BabyJ.” Everything indicates that Ec1s will have a leadership role within the team, and it is expected that both he and BabyJ will keep the roles of controller and sentinel.

For the moment, 100 Thieves arrives after a more than solid campaign in 2021. The club became one of the best in the North American region. However, the end of the year was not as expected after the departure of Joshua Nissan “steel” shortly before the NA Last Chance was played. There, they fell to Cloud9 Blue, and with it, they ended the season.

Now it only remains to see this team in action, although we could say that it is not as good as last year, where they had that steel or some player of the stature of Nitr0. Although 100 Thieves found the best in the market, it is true that everything indicates that they have not managed to match that roster they had last year.
