es3tag will join the NIP CSGO squad

Former Team player Heroic, Astralis, and Complexity Gaming on CS:GO Patrick es3tag Hansen is joining the Ninjas in Pyjamas.

According to the source, es3tag will take the place of young player Linus LNZ Holtäng, with whom the team played for more than five months. With this lineup, the Swedish team reached the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and won Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Fall: Europe.

Previously, other sources have confirmed the likelihood of such a replacement. On November 2, Complexity disbanded the roster – es3tag was put up for transfer, two more players – blameF and k0nfig joined Astralis.

Patrick ” es3tag ” Hansen’s days on the Complexity Gaming transfer list seem to be numbered. According to information gathered by CS: GO Leaks this Friday noon, Ninjas in Pyjamas is interested in hiring a 25-year-old player.

The Dane, who already played alongside Nicolai ” device ” Reedtz during his Astralis days, in the second half of 2020, would be the Swedish organization’s record one to replace Linus ” LNZ ” Holtäng in the same lineup.

The rumor comes days after the frustrating elimination of the team in the PGL Major Stockholm Major 2021, the most prestigious competition on the CS: GO world scene in which the team was singled out as one of the favorites, as well as being the host of the dispute.

Over there, LNZ failed to show the individual quality that led the ninjas to promote him from the base to their main lineup in early June. Statistically, by the way, the young man of only 19 years has been the weak link of Ninjas in Pajamas.

Although he helped the team conquer the European division of IEM Fall 2021 at the beginning of October, the player now sees his place in the starting lineup threatened by the possible hiring of es3tag.

The Dane, by the way, has been looking for a new home since the dissolution of Complexity’s European cast. Previously, the Dane has represented clubs such as Cloud9, Astralis, and Heroic.

  • Patrick ” es3tag” Hansen
  • Hampus ” hampus ” Poser
  • Fredrik ” REZ ” Sterner
  • Nicolai ” dev1ce ” Reedtz
