After a long time of waiting, the date has finally come to start enjoying the PGL Major Stockholm from CS:GO. The New Challenger Stage (October 26 – October 29)

  • Swiss 16-team competition format.
  • All teams are at BO1, while the elimination and advancement tournaments are the best of 3 games.
  • The first 8 teams will proceed to the next phase (The New Legends Stage), while the last eight will be eliminated.

New Legends Stage (October 30 – November 2)

  • Swiss 16-team competition format.
  • All teams are at BO1, while the elimination and advancement tournaments are the best of 3 games.
  • The first 8 teams will proceed to the next phase (The New Champions Stage), while the last eight will be eliminated.

The New Champions Stage (November 4 – November 7)

  • Direct Elimination Bracket.
  • All series are the best of three maps.

Awards

The teams will not only fight for the pot of $2,000,000 to be shared among all participants. The teams will also fight for points for the ESL Pro Tour (1800 points for the first), the qualification for the BLAST Premier: World Finals, and 4,000 points.

Mopoz confirms the arrival of the stickers for the PGL Major.

The player from Movistar Riders, one of the teams classified for the biggest CS: GO event of the year, seems to have confirmed this. Through a tweet on his social networks, the player said that the players had already received a message from Valve to send their signatures for the stickers.
