Call of Duty: Mobile has a brand-new burst assault rifle that they’ve been boasting around with for a while now, and they recently made it completely free for users that want to get it. Do you want to be one of those users? Then keep on reading because this will definitely make your day.
Since Season 9 of Call of Duty: Mobile has started, more and more players gave managed to get their hands on some pretty sweet additions to their arsenals. Recently, players managed to get their hands on the Swordfish, but that’s not all as they’re also set to get the Thumper later this season as well.
In case you didn’t know by now, the Swordfish is a burst assault rifle that is both incredibly accurate on long range and incredibly devastating from that distance as well. The only real problem with it is its lack of damage, but this is perfectly balanced with its high rate of fire which makes it incredibly scary to deal with to say the least.
But alas, as is pretty common for Call of Duty: Mobile, they’re yet again spoiling their player base by giving them the Swordfish for free.
If you want to unlock it you can do so by completing certain in-game tasks or just by getting it at the end of the battle pass right after you complete the tier required to get it.
But alas, the Swordfish is the 29th gun that you will find in the Assault Rifle category. You can find it right now by just entering Call of Duty: Mobile and searching for it there.
All that you need to do to get your hands on it is to complete the Battle Pass up until you get to Tier 21. There you will see the Swordfish listed off as the reward and after you’re done doing that you can get your hands on it.
In order to actually reach Tier 21, you will need to play a lot and complete every daily/weekly mission you can. Luckily, getting to Tier 21 is not all that hard, especially considering the fact that you can do it in a couple of days by solely focusing on the challenges right off the bat.
You can also take part in several of the seasonal challenges and events which will give you extra XP, bringing you closer to that Tier 21.
In case you’re interested in what the stats of the Swordfish are, then don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. Here is what you can expect from the Swordfish gun:
- A below average damage of 24
- An impressive accuracy of 46
- A downright incredible range of 46
- A great fire rate of 71
- A below average mobility of 65
- A decent control of 33
So, as you can see, while not the best gun in the game, it can still make for an incredible addition to your arsenal if you simply play through the Battle Pass for a couple of days.
