Pokémon Unite took the world by storm in 2021 by essentially bringing in one of the most exciting games in the series in a very long time now.
It’s fun, it’s revolutionary and best of all, it awards you for understanding the mechanics of the game. But, because of the intricacies behind the gameplay itself, many have actually failed to get through the game properly and rack up some wins which is what we’re here for today.
In this short article we will provide you with 5 tips on how to get better at Pokémon Unite. So, starting off our list we have the following tip:
Learn Every Pokémon’s Role
As you can already tell from that subtitle, depending on which category of Pokémon you choose to go for, you’re going to have a different experience altogether as far as your gameplay goes.
You have the following five categories to choose from:
Each and every single one of those classes changes with time, for example if you choose to go for an Attacker type then you will find the first couple of hours with that Pokémon to be horrible, but as you play more and more with them, you’ll see just how much potential the character has.
Learn your character, learn everything about it and especially pick out the best role for you so you don’t end up regretting it later on.
Pick The Appropriate Items
Sure, going for the default item may seem great at the time, but remember that Held Items are going to be the best tools for you to get that victory with. Here are the classes that the items are separated into:
Again, pick the right one for your character so you get your money’s worth out of it.
Don’t Forget to Upgrade Them
An item is only as good at its level, and this is made all the more apparent by the fact that most people that forget to upgrade them end up completely rolled over by the competition.
Held items can be upgraded up to grade 30, and with each and every single one of those upgrades the item essentially gets a boost that makes it a lot better in game. Continue to upgrade them until you’re pretty much maxed out.
Farm As Much as You Can
It is an RPG after all, so you will have to spend a lot of time just farming away. This might seem very tedious at first but if you don’t do it and instead you just jump right into the battle, you’ll find yourself swept in literal seconds by the competition. Remember, it’s a team-based game so always do what’s best for the team not just for you.
Use Zapdos to Your Advantage
The saddest part about this is that most people actually downright avoid even trying out Zapdos in the first place. But this is a massive mistake as you can play around this legendary boss Pokémon and hone your skills during this time period quite easily.
It’s literally the game giving you 30 Aeos energy, so why would you ever skip out on that?
