VCT STAGE 3 MASTERS

All across the globe, the Valorant community is preparing itself for the second biggest Valorant competition of 2021, the Valorant Berlin Masters. After a fair share of entertainment in the qualifying rounds, which saw the best teams rise from every region, the best names are fighting for the right to be crowned the champion before competing for the World Championship later this year.

The competition will kick off on 10th September and should tell us which teams are the top contenders for the ultimate world championship. However, in this article, we will cover everything that you should know before the start of the  Valorant Berlin Masters.

Teams qualified for Berlin Masters

16 teams from all over the world will compete in Berlin Germany for the lion’s share of the prize pool and points.

Group Brackets of the Berlin Masters Announced

On 30th August Riot Games officially announced the brackets of each group. Their will be four groups with four teams each:

Group A:

Akend

SuperMassive Blaze

Paper rex

Vision Strikers

Group B:

Zeta department

Envy

KRU Sport

Havan Liberty

Group C:

100 thieves

Keyd stars

Crazy Raccoon

gambit

Group D:

Brent Sports

Sentinels

Format

Faze Clan Valorant

These 16 teams will compete against the members of their respective groups in a double-elimination format. And only the top two teams of each group will qualify for the next round. The first-ranked team of each group will be paired with the second-ranked team from each group for the knockout stage.

The survivors of the knockout competition in the semifinals. The matches of the group stage, knockout phase, and semi-finals will be contested in the Best of Three format. While the grand finale will be played in the best of five format.

Schedule of the Berlin Masters:

Group Stage: September 10th to 16th

Quarter-finals: September 16th to 17th

Semi-finals: September 18th

Grand finale: September 19th

Prize pool of the Berlin Masters

Official information related to the prize pool is yet to be revealed by Riot Games. The last Iceland Masters had a prize pool of  $600,000. So it is expected that Berlin Masters will have a bigger prize pool and could surpass the million-dollar mark. We will update the article as soon as Riot makes the announcement.
