All team qualified for LoL Worlds 2021?

The Worlds are approaching, but which teams are qualified? Let’s take stock of the situation with this article.

In the last few days, there has been some shocking news about the League of Legends Worlds. The tournament, which was originally supposed to take place in China, has been moved to Europe due to problems related to the pandemic. However, it has not yet been announced where the tournament will take place.

2021 League of Legends Worlds Final Date

The Mid-season invitational was held in Reykjavík some think that the Worlds 2021 could also be held in Iceland but the official announcement has not yet arrived. However, it could arrive in the next few days. Riot Games is looking for the best accommodation to allow teams not to have to quarantine and at the same time allow the public to be able to watch the event live.

China and Korea are the favored nations for the final victory and will each have 4 teams qualified for the event. At the moment they have obtained the pass for China, FunPlus Phoenix and Edward Gaming, still missing two places. Curious to note how Royal Never Give Up which won the Mid-Season Invitational is not yet qualified and risks not showing up at the start of the tournament.

For Korea, the currently qualified teams are DWG KIA, Gen G and T1. Three teams that can take home the title, while the 3 European teams that will go to Worlds 2021 are already known and are Rogue, MAD Lions and Fnatic.
