Rainbow Six Invitational 2021 has been postponed

Sad news for all of you eSports lovers, because the most important Rainbow Six Siege tournament, recognized as the Ubisoft world title, has been postponed. The Six Invitational 2021, has been postponed have announced Ubisoft. 

The tournament held last year in Montreal was for the first time been organize in Europe, precisely in Paris but due to Covid-19 was postponed. ?On January 29th, the French Prime Minister announced that the French borders would be closed to all non-EU travelers.

Why bet on esports?

Following this announcement, Ubisoft, alongside our partner Live Nation, has been working tirelessly to find solutions to organize the physical edition of the Six Invitational 2021 in Paris, France in February, as initially planned. However, we have now learned that LAN esports events are no longer possible in today?s context, despite the strict sanitary measures put in place.

Consequently, we have no choice but to postpone the Six Invitational 2021 to a later date.? Announce Ubisoft on their website.

The most important Rainbow Six Siege tournament, recognized as the Ubisoft world title, had already been the subject of several rumors in recent days, including those reported by the authoritative Brazilian portal Globo.com.
